Rosie's Story

In loving memory of
Rosie Pemberton
08.07.2017
On July 3rd 2017 our world came crashing down. At 32 weeks pregnant with our first baby, my husband and I heard the words, “I’m sorry, we can’t find a heartbeat.”

I had taken myself to the hospital as I had had reduced foetal movements and so thought I should go to triage to get our baby checked. Little did I know that I wouldn’t be leaving the hospital for another week, and that when I did, I would be heartbroken and have empty arms.

After finding out that our baby had died I was induced and we waited 5 more days to meet our beautiful baby girl who was born at 9am on the 8th July. Rosie entered our world silently and peacefully weighing 4lb 13oz with her cute little button nose and delicate hands and feet. We were able to spend time with her and make as many memories as we could until we left hospital the following day.

We may have only held Rosie in our arms for moments but we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Rosie, we will love you always, Mummy, Daddy and your little brother Louie xxx
